MISSIONS
Mt. Scott Church of God financially and prayerfully supports several missionary families around the world primarily through our Faith Promise budget. Our “Living Link” Missionaries are Church of God missionaries who serve under the auspices of the Global Ministries division of the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. We have Strategic Partner Missionaries that serve through various agencies but are strategic in the overall effort to carry out the Great Commission, Matt. 28:18-20

Japan: Cheryl & Bernie Barton
The Barton’s are in Tokyo, Japan following several years of pastoring a local church in Kobe. Bernie serves as the principal of the Church of God Girls School and Cheryl conducts English classes as well as a contributing writer to several missions publications.
Singapore, Viet Nam, Cambodia:Church Planting
Neiville & Anne Tan are on mission in Singapore. Neiville is Gen. Secretary of the Asian Church of God Conference. Mt. Scott partners with Outreach Ministries of the Church of God to participate in the Tan’s efforts to plant churches in Viet Nam and Cambodia. www.churchofgodsg.com; also www.antioch.com.sg/sg/cog/intro.htm
New Zealand: Church Planting
Doug & Danette Beasley are missionaries in New Zealand. Mt. Scott partners with Outreach Ministries of the Church of God to participate in working with the Beasley family to reintroduce the Lord in that nation.

Guevea de Humboldt, Mexico: John & Donna Kreutz
The Kreutz family live alternately in Oregon and in the village of Guevea, Mexico serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators John and Donna are working with Guevea Zapotec people translating the scriptures into their heart language. www.wycliffe.org.
International Christian Ministries
Phil Walker serves as the International Director of ICM and divides his time between his US office and ICM campuses in Africa and Europe. ICM’s ministry is to provide in-service training for pastors and workers in various countries around the world. www.icmusa.org
International Christian Ministries
Dennis and Georgia Miller serve as Northwest Regional Representatives for ICM. Together they minister to people worldwide that are trapped in hurts, habits, and hangups that distance them from God.
India: India Gospel League
Samuel Stephens is president of the India Gospel League based in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. With his wife Prati and other family members, IGL ministers through schools, orphanages and hospitals in several areas in India. IGL has hosted several individuals from Mt. Scott who have served in many areas of ministry on short-term assignments. www.iglworld.net
Africa: Horizon International
Bob Pearson is CEO of this organization dedicated to bringing a world of hope to AIDS orphaned children and providing transformational education for their growth. “…our goal is to enable orphans to ‘leap like calves released from the stall’ as they in turn become leaders in their own right.” www.horizoninternationalinc.com
Beirut, Lebanon: Mediterranean Bible College
Mt. Scott provides financial support enabling MBC to provide Bible training and other curriculum to students from various Middle Eastern countries. This helps strengthen Arabic congregations to compassionately and intentionally fulfill the mission of Christ.
Beirut, Lebanon: Heart 4 Lebanon Christian relief organization
Camille Melki is a Team Leader of this organation that reaches out with Christian arms to refugees in need of food and shelter. Mt. Scott provides financial support for Camille and his family. www.heartforlebanon.org/
Africa, Kenya: Kima International School of Theology
Mt. Scott provides scholarships to African Bible students to attend this Church of God Seminary in Kima, Kenya.
Central Asia:
Mt. Scott provides financial support to assist in staffing an orphanage in a Central Asian Country. The location is unnamed to protect those involved in service to abandoned children.
• Local Outreach
Mt. Scott Church of God supports several ministries and individuals that are involved in local evangelism and ministry projects. We also finance various funds and needs throughout the year such as disaster relief after hurricane, flood, or earthquake incidents. All of these outreach funds are provided through the Outreach portion of the church budget, which is our church’s “tithe” of 10% of our general income
